Selective Speed System is a research and development project exploring whether vehicle dynamics and carefully designed road geometry can enable a more selective approach to speed reduction.

The project is currently in the research and experimental validation phase.

We are working to answer one fundamental question:

Can we slow vehicles that are moving too fast without unnecessarily penalizing those already moving at the right speed?
